Parents Lodge

Taking the Bus to Camp

Please arrive at Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center's (IHTC) parking lot by 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 10th.

IHTC staff will assist kids traveling to camp by bus with check-in.

Parents driving their camper(s) to Camp Brave Eagle may, of course, still accompany their children throughout the check-in process. Parents who will be driving should make sure they have directions to Camp Crosley.

Pre-boarding Instructions

Before boarding the bus for camp, all campers must check-in in the lobby of IHTC.

There IHTC medical staff will:

  • Take a camper count
  • Review the required medical information paperwork filled out by each camper's primary care physician. Please note: All campers must send this paperwork to IHTC before camp.
  • Log all camper factor and medications

Items to Bring

To be prepared for Camp Brave Eagle, please be sure to pack the following items:

  • Bleeding disorder treatment (e.g. Factor, Stimate)
    • This is mandatory for camp attendees. Contact IHTC to discuss number of doses needed.
  • Medication – any medications taken on a daily basis
  • Clothing – Campers need enough clothes for one week (please note; there is not a clothes washing facility available to campers). You will receive a detailed list with the registration packet.
